Guest Policies
The Newark Country Club staff looks forward to being at your service! To help prepare you for your visit to the Club, please take a moment to review the following information.
CLUBHOUSE ATTIRE
Proper attire is required on Club property at all times. No denim blue jeans or warm-up suits permitted. Collared shirts are required for men. Women may wear sleeveless shirts, provided it has a collar or a collarless blouse/top, provided it has sleeves. Hats may be worn as designated and must be removed when in the Clubhouse. Shorts must be Bermuda style in length for men (no cargo shorts), and no more than 5 inches from the knee for women.
CELL PHONES
As a courtesy to your members and guests, cellular telephones should not be used in Tavern, Lounge, 19th Hole or Ballroom. Members are responsible for advising guests of this consideration.
HOURS OF OPERATION
The clubhouse will be open each day, except Mondays.The facilities of the Newark Country Club will be open during published hours set out in the monthly newsletter and published on the club website. Unless an emergency situation requires the immediate closure of a club facility, the membership will be notified, in advance, of changes in the operating hours of any of the club facilities.
PACE OF PLAY
Pace of play at NCC: Members & guests are expected to complete a round in 4 hours or less.
SMOKING
Smoking is not permitted inside the Clubhouse. Smoking is permitted on the patio and in designated areas outside the Clubhouse.
